My Mission

I'm excited to join this incredible initiative! Golden Gate Bird Alliance's mission to inspire people to protect Bay Area birds is very important to me and I'm proud to help them make a difference.

I fondly remember the walkathons when I was young. This is my grown up version!

Please support me by giving to my page. Every dollar counts! Thank you.

Ken and I drove over to Elsie Roemer Bird Sanctuary along the bay in Alameda. A storm was brewing, so the wind was really whipping. The shorebirds didn't seem to mind, and I saw seven new species hanging out.

The picture below is c/o Tony Battiste (All About Birds website). We saw one pair of these pintails. It's easy to see why they're called this when you see a male!

I'm almost to my 100-species goal but won't stop there! Please dig deep and contribute what you can so that GGBA can continue its outstanding programs, field trips and outreach programs. Thank you!

And finally, the yellow throat! (He's a warbler)
