I am humbled and moved by the support we've received. I am grateful to the families who have allowed me to share pictures of thir loved ones. It has been profoundly moving to me to remember and honor their jurneys and how much each one of them has changed me as a surgeon and a person.

For Head and Neck Cancer Awareness Month I am honoring some of my families who have lived with Head and Neck Cancer: some of the strongest, most loving people I know ( Shawna O'Neill, Paul Renfrow, Ellen Matrangos and Bobby Zimmerman, pictures with permission of family.)

HNCA supports programs that immediately help patients and families living with head and neck cancer: peer to peer mentorship, live and virtual education, gas card programs, abassadors and advocates. We use their materials every day in practical support for everyone affected by head and neck cancer.
