We Love You Uncle Rob
On 9/11/25, our beloved Uncle Rob reached out for the hand of God and left behind his pain and battle with CANCER.
Rob has taught us so much over the last 10 years. I was naive to think I knew what the words Strength, Perseverance, FIGHT, Love, and Happiness meant. Through Rob's battle, I now know what these words truly mean. And they are words I vow to live by.
Rob was the greatest uncle to Ronan. From late night text message exchanges with Ronan to Ronan making 3D printed items for Uncle Rob, they had a great relationship. When we were visiting Uncle Rob in Arizona in June, Rob & Ronan were able to hit the road for a Spider ride. That will always be a lasting memory for Ronan. For around 1 hour, the 2 of them were cruising around, wearing helmets with communication systems in them and being isolated in the FREEDOM of the open road.
I hope you will help honor the legacy of Uncle Rob and all of those who have died due to cancer by helping our fundraiser.

I made 21 Saves yesterday, not officially counting towards October saves, but I have updated my saves total to 53 for the 3 games I played goalie.

No saves for me this week. My teammate Theo will be playing goalie for the next 3 games. He did great today with over 15 saves!

Interesting situation....Ronan skated out last night and played offensive for the first time this year. He scored 1 goal (game winning goal) and got an assist. Since he was involved in 2 goals being scored, does he have to subtract 2 saves from his own goal total? HA!!!!!!!
Gotta love kids playing goalie and still showing their scoring touch when they skate out:)

Ronan had another 15 saves for his team in a 5-3 win today! Still lower than our expected saves per game, but his team is really helping out by limiting the number of shots he faces.
Ronan gets 2 weeks off and teammate Theo Hicks will be in net for the next 3 games.

Ronan started off the October Saves Challenge making 17 saves in a 6-3 Win. He came in a little lower on his expected saves per game thanks to the great defenseman he had working with him that broke up at least 5 plays and helping limit the number of shots faced.
