Why I Bird For Point Blue

I am thrilled to be participating in Point Blue's 2025 Rich Stallcup Bird-A-Thon! Now in its 47th year, this event is an opportunity to connect, learn, and grow as a nature-loving community and to raise conservation funds to secure a healthy planet. The goal is to identify as many bird species as possible in a 24-hour period between September 15 and October 15. Please consider helping me reach my fundraising goal by making a donation or by pledging a dollar amount based on the number of bird species I see.

Since 2013, I have had the privilege to work with farmers and ranchers across California to deepen their land stewardship and improve ecological processes that benefit both their operation, human communities, and wildlife. As a leader of the Working Lands Group at Point Blue, I strive to support my team through many phases of growth as we seek to inspire excellence in land stewardship and build long lasting relationships in the agricultural community. Your contribution will help my team make lasting impacts in their local communities for both wildlife and people.

Please follow this link to my personal giving page, and if you would be so kind to make sure to direct your donation to “Working Lands Group” it will help ensure that it goes to support habitat, clean water, and abundant bird and wildlife species on working landscapes in California.
