My Mission

For 60 years, Notre Dame Rowing has been carried not by ease or advantage, but by grit, sweat, and the unbreakable bond between teammates. We’ve rowed in storms. We’ve bailed out sinking shells. We’ve patched up equipment and pushed past limits. And we’ve done it all because we believed in something bigger than ourselves.

This anniversary is more than a celebration. It’s a bow of gratitude — to every captain who led from the front, every coxswain who found the rhythm in chaos, every coach who held the standard high, and every alum who never stopped pulling for the team, long after their last race.

From South Bend to the Schuylkill, from the Wabash to the finish line at ACRA, we row not for recognition, but for each other — past, present, and future. And in every boat today, there’s a whisper of those first strokes in 1965… reminding us that Notre Dame Rowing was never built to be easy.

It was built to endure.

The next chapter is waiting. Will you help carry the boat? I’m asking for just a penny a meter—or any amount you're moved to give.

Please support my page, and help keep this legacy strong.

Sláinte and Row Irish!
