Support the MGA Caddie Scholarship Fund as I play 6 rounds of golf in a day!

I caddied for 6 seasons at Tamarack Country Club, during which I received the WGA Caddie Scholarship (now MGA Caddie Scholarship). That time provided some very fond memories, from some great laughs, to the excitement of caddying for a club championship, and relationships that continue today. I will always be thankful for my time there with the supportive staff and generous membership.

On August 21st, I will take the formidable challenge to play 6 rounds of golf in a day (one for each season I caddied). From sun up to sun down, at Siwanoy Country Club, I'm raising money and awareness for the Metropolitan Golf Association Caddie Scholarship Fund. I also serve on the Fund's Alumni Committee.

To support my efforts, you can pledge any flat amount or pledge for each of the 108 holes of golf I play. For example, if you pledge $1 per hole, that’s $108 towards the MGA Caddie Scholarship Fund. It will be a fun, but challenging day and your backing will help keep us going!

Throughout the day my thoughts will inevitably turn to longtime Tamarack member, mentor, and friend, David Selznick. David was more than my regular loop. He was a genuine and candid supporter who gave me a job in his accounting firm during one offseason. He treated me like a peer and always made himself available. He passed away too soon and I'm especially thankful for our one last member-guest.

As of this morning, I’ve reached my fundraising goal, making this year my most successful campaign! Thank you for the generous donations and I appreciate your support.

The event has raised over $250K with some more donations expected over the next couple of weeks. This money goes directly to the awards for 189 scholars this coming school year.
