In February 2026, I will embark on a solo run across the United States, starting in San Diego and finishing in Kill Devil Hills, North Carolina—over 3,000 miles on foot.
I’m taking on this challenge to raise support for the Front Royal Pregnancy Center, which provides hope, help, and resources to women facing unexpected pregnancies.

Day 23: 24 miles (Pima toward Duncan)
Started the day with Mass and breakfast with my mom and grandma, who have been taking such good care of me these past days. I feel very spoiled.
Honestly felt a lot of fear this morning thinking about the dangers of the road and the long miles ahead.
But I kept moving. Someone even stopped to give me water along the way.
Grateful for family, for protection, and for another day on the road.

Day 22: 25 miles from Bylas to Pima, AZ
Started the morning with Mass in Safford and pancakes from my mom before hitting the road.
Met a man named Curtis along the way who encouraged me and said he’d pray for the mission.
Wide shoulders and a safe road today. Grateful for a good day and ended it with confession and prayer.

Day 21: 28 miles (Peridot, AZ → Bylas)
Started the morning at Mass and met a woman named Michelle whose story of loss, faith, and gratitude really moved me. It reminded me how much I have to be thankful for.
The road today had some close calls with traffic, but I kept moving and praying.
Finished the day with my mom and grandma cheering me in and a well-earned banana split. Grateful for another day on the road.

Day 20: Globe toward Peridot
Honestly a frustrating day. Rush-hour traffic made the road really dangerous, and I had to jump off the shoulder constantly to let cars pass. After a while it just wasn’t safe to keep going, so my mom and grandma picked me up early.
Sometimes the road humbles you. Feeling a bit like the Israelites in the desert, forgetting how much God has already provided.
Grateful to be safe. Tomorrow is another day.

Day 18 an 19
Day 18 was a rest day with my family in Sedona. We spent time together and saw some incredible red rock formations. It was a real gift to step away from the road for a moment.
Day 19 was the opposite.
I ran 20 miles from Superior to Globe through winding mountain roads with fast traffic and almost no shoulder. I had to jump into a ditch every 30 seconds to let cars pass, hoping there wasn’t a rattlesnake where I landed.
Saw a tarantula… and some pretty gnarly roadkill too.
It slowed me down and honestly made for a frustrating and grumpy day.
But I made it safely. And some days on a journey like this are just about that.
