Team Captain of FBC Denver & Front Range
I'm birding for a better world! Can you cheer me on?
I'm excited to be a part of Feminist Bird Club's Birdathon for Congo!
I started the Denver & Front Range chapter of FBC because the Denver community needed inclusive and accessible spaces for people of all backgrounds to flourish in their exploration of nature. This radically inclusive event makes the birding community stronger by showing that all people can make a positive impact through our shared love of birds and devotion to environmental justice.
Please help me reach my goal by leaving a flat donation or making a pledge to support my birding efforts! Your support will help provide critical funds to the organization Friends of the Congo. Thank you for considering and stay tuned for my birding updates! π¦

Went on a quick walk with my dog to City Park's Duck Pond. City Park is always bird-filled this time of year. The cormorants are finally back and in their nests. What a great end to a weekend full of birds!
Double-crested Cormorant, Black-crowned Night Heron, Snowy Egret, Canada Goose

Went on a solo birding trip/hike at Lair O' the Bear early this morning to hike the Panorama Loop. I always have good birding luck here and this morning did not disappoint!
I saw 15 new species for this weekend! Almost to my 40 bird goal!! Highlights was by far the American Dipper pair and their nest. I stuck around and watched them dive around for at least 10 minutes
Black-billed Magpie, Rock Dove, Barn Swallow, Song Sparrow, American Goldfinch, American Crow, MacGillivray's Warbler, European Starling, Pygmy Nuthatch, Red-breasted Nuthatch, Dark-eyed Junco, Mountain Chickadee, Western Tananger, American Dipper, Mallard
