My name is Madi Bigej. I am a junior in high school, at Canby High School, and I am honored to be apart of this opportunity to help kids in need around me. A single pair of shoes costs $20.
I'm proud to be a 2023 Young Leader for Soles4Souls, raising funds to support kids experiencing homelessness in the U.S.
Without a good pair of shoes, kids feel embarrassed, discouraged, or left out— simply because they lack something most of us take for granted. New shoes give kids the opportunity to participate more fully in school, and frees up resources their caregivers can use for other necessities.
That's why I've set a goal to raise $10,000 to ensure 500 kids experiencing homelessness have a new pair of high-quality, well-fitting shoes for the upcoming school year. Will you help by making a donation today?
