It's almost time for our 8th year in the "Million Dollar Bike Ride" (June 8th), to raise funds for LAM research. It's likely that Joe will be riding most (or all) of the miles this year, as it's getting difficult for me to spend much time on the tandem bike. Our ride will be "virtual" again this year, to allow for more flexibility for us to try a few miles together, before sending Joe on the longer haul.

We're still committed to raising funding to continue the research which has brought limited treatments for some patients and continues to move in the direction of a better understanding and hopefully a cure for this disease. We're joining the LAM Foundation team Virtually, riding on the Wabash Cannonball Trail. Again this year, we're inviting our amazing sponsors to join us in this effort. While we roll up the miles, we're providing the opportunity for each of you to contribute to our funding goal, and help us earn the dollar-for-dollar match provided by the Penn Medicine Orphan Disease Center, which hosts this event to raise money for research into rare diseases.
