The race is over, and our team finished 5th in class! More importantly, our team's community raised $1,005 of the $15,400 total raised by PCA Sim Racing for Operation Motorsport.

Thank you all so much for your support!

We are all getting excited...the 6 hour race at Le Mans to conclude the 2023 Virtual Race for Heroes and raise money for Operation Motorsport is just days away. Our entire team, Volker Krebs, Rob Cottle, Jeff Williams, and I have been preparing for weeks now, and, starting 4th in class in our Porsche 911 RSR, we hope to make a great showing.

More importantly, we hope to inspire others to help us in reaching our organization-wide $25,000 fundraising goal before the race concludes. If you haven't done so already, please share the donation link with your friends, family, neighbors, co-workers...basically, anyone you know. No contribution is too small, and it's for a worthy cause.

Please lend your support by watching, cheering (via live chat), and helping us spread the word about this worthy cause. See our team stream link below (we will crank it up at 8:30 a.m. PDT on Sunday, August 27th).

This morning I received a very nice "thank you" message from Susan at Operation Motorsport. In it, she included information that stresses the impact of this organization:

"Just two weekends ago, Taner, a veteran medically separated from the service, was embedded with Crowdstrike Racing. 'It was an amazing experience and wildly helpful with the struggles I have to deal with. I look forward to doing it again. I assisted with setting up trailer and hospitality service as well as taking the tires to tent for temperature reading after pit stops.'"

Your donations matter. And, as a reminder, this campaign remains active until the conclusion of the second race in the two-race 2023 Virtual Race for Heroes event on August 27th; there is still time to share with your friends and family to maximize our impact. Thank you for your part, and thank you in advance for all of your support!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

Race 1 at Sebring was not without some adventure, but we came out 3 positions up from where we started, and qualified the car on the second row of our class for Race 2 at Le Mans on August 27th. Not a bad 4-hour's work at all!

There's still time to contribute to the team goal of $2,500 and the overall organization goal of $25,000 to benefit Operation Motorsport, so be sure to share with your friends. This campaign page will remain up until the end of Race 2 on August 27th, and we still have a lot of work to do to meet our goals.
