Team Captain of Finch Gang
Support my team in the Great Wisconsin Birdathon!
This is the 13th year I’ve been the gang leader of the notorious Finch Gang. We know what we’re doing - raising serious money for birds in Wisconsin - and we’re not stopping for anything. Give - or else!
Birds matter a lot to me, as I know they do to you. While thoroughly enjoying the birds, I’ll continue to do as much as I can to reverse the downward trend in their numbers. Besides participating in the Great Wisconsin Birdathon, I volunteer for several bird organizations: Bird City Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Chimney Swift Working Group, the Birdathon and Bird Protection Fund advisory committees, and I’m the chair of the Wisconsin Bird Conservation Partnership.
Another way I'm hoping to help, in the long run, was to establish the Birds of Wisconsin Legacy Fund at the Natural Resources Foundation a couple of years ago. This fund will provide stable funding for priority bird conservation projects in Wisconsin into the future. Anyone who wishes to can contribute any amount of funding at any time (be sure to note that your donation is for this fund). https://donatenow.networkforgood.org/Wisconservation Please let me know if you’d like to know more.
Make a donation online by clicking "donate" above, or mail a check to: Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin, ATTN: Great Wisconsin Birdathon, 211 S. Paterson St., Suite 100, Madison, WI 53703 (and include "Finch Gang" in the memo line!)

Your Donation Makes a Difference For Birds
Donations made to the Great Wisconsin Birdathon support the Natural Resources Foundation of Wisconsin’s Bird Protection Fund, which has given out over $1.4 million towards Wisconsin’s highest priority bird conservation projects since its inception in 2009.
Whether it's creating Piping Plover habitat, rearing Whooping Crane chicks, spreading awareness about declining songbirds, supporting community initiatives for bird-friendly neighborhoods, engaging new and underrepresented voices in the birding community, building impactful collaborations to protect Wisconsin's Important Bird Areas, or protecting our neotropical migrants on their long migratory journeys to Central America... the Bird Protection Fund is there to help.
Your donations make this work possible. Thank you for supporting on-the-ground conservation and being there #ForTheBirds!
