My Mission
LCC is a Rare neurological disease that affects the white matter of the brain. We used to live in Central California , but moved in 2017 to where our parents were living (now) in Canada. What started out as an “epilepsy “ or general seizure disorder in Alice, our daughter, was finally diagnosed as as LCC which is Leukoencephalopathy with Calcifications and Cysts. Big long name, which is why we say LCC! We are still learning about this disease along the way, but invite you all to support our reasearch team that is working to answer the big questions and hopefully find a cure! Thank You❤️

I was aiming to get two hours in today, but since it was a holiday I truly got lots of extra moves in….Pilates class (biking to and from!), lawn mowing and another lovely forsest to beach hike with my best canine buddy. Perfect end to a very inspiring fundraiser. Thank you to all of you who participated and hopefully learned more about the LCC condition in the process. 💛
