Participating in GallopNYC Central Park Promenade 2022
My Happy Place - My Mission
I know how much impact horses can have on a person's life - that's why I'm joining with GallopNYC, New York City's premiere therapeutic riding facility - to raise funds to help support their horses and their riders.
On May 22, 2022 I'll be riding along with GallopNYC and their riders as they Promenade through the Central Park on the bridle path.
We'll be riding together, demonstrating the power that horses have to change lives.
Please support me by giving to my page. Every dollar counts! Thank you so much!

To my generous supporters- my phenomenal friends & families (both my amazing mom, sister, & relatives *and* my magnificent film-family),
I am overjoyed to announce that thanks to YOU and your generosity - I have reached *100% OF MY FUNDRAISING GOAL* for the GallopNYC Central Park Promenade.
Thank you for making this little girl, the younger me that still lives in my soul in her jelly sandals fearlessly on a horse far too big for her (that may or may not be held on a line by some Montana cowboys that you may or may not make out looking at the shadows on the ground), as happy today as she was when this picture was taken! My inner child is surely twirling her skirt with an over the shoulder smile! 🐴❤️
Thank you isn’t enough to describe how overjoyed I am! So… thank you times infinity plus one!!!
On May 22nd I will be riding alongside other riders on our fleet of therapy horses through Central Park, and then toast them with a champagne reception at the Museum of the City of New York. Any donation above $150 comes with a ticket -- so I hope you'll join me! 🥂
But when you’ve crossed the finish line where do you go? Well if you were to ask my favorite soccer player, as reported on my middle school awkward-stage “soccer player sports card,” Mia Hamm-“Celebrate what you’ve accomplished, but raise the bar a little higher each time you succeed.”
Live life like RICH STRIKE! 🐎
So the fun doesn’t stop here! With 12 days to go before our fundraiser ends - Please share the donation link! Let's see how far we can raise the bar!
On behalf of all to whom you have given the gift of an equine experience with your donation, and for the support of our amazingly empathetic equine friends you have also supported, thank you so so so much from the bottom of my heart.

I may be just as excited right now as Misty, Peyton, & King were when they were assigned the task of “mowing” the yard at @gallopnyc Forest Hills!
I cannot believe how far we’ve come!
As of this morning we are only $650 away from my fundraising goal!
To all of you who have donated and/or shared so far, thank you so so so much! I’m so beyond grateful!
If you have not yet donated yet - now is your time to help cross that finish line! Anyone who donates $150 or more will receive a ticket to the exclusive GallopNYC Central Park Promenade Champagne Reception following the event at The Museum of the City of New York! 🐴🍾🥂
If you have not shared already - Please help spread the word about this amazing cause & organization!

Bringing a new meaning to "April Showers" at GallopNYC Forest Hills! Time to lose those winter coats (hopefully for all of us) and enjoy the cherry blossoms!
It was all hands on deck! From the instructors / staff to the therapeutic riders & volunteers - everyone was able to enjoy this gorgeous afternoon!
Misty, along with the rest of the Forest Hills fleet, certainly enjoyed their Spa Day (and the fresh spring greens) as they start to gear up for their Mary 22nd GallopNYC Central Park Promenade debut!
Thank you again to all who have donated to this page & GallopNYC's cause!
If you have donated already, thank you again! And if I could ask one more favor - please share and spread the word!
If you have not yet done so, please share and consider donating! No donation is too small to keep these gorgeous moments in the lives of New Yorkers of all ages and abilities!

What your support means to GallopNYC's riders
Everyday, GallopNYC provides life changing therapeutic riding lessons to New Yorkers, especially those that might not be able to afford lessons.
These lessons are more than just pony rides. Riders learn patience with themselves and their horse. They gain fine and gross motor skills, balance, coordination, core strength, dexterity, and how to better control where their body is in space.
Every moment with a horse builds skills and impacts the rider's life.
