Ella decided to learn how to surf as her 8th grade project so we started going just about every Saturday starting in the fall of 2022. It's been a magical routine getting out in the ocean for a couple of hours every week. As part of the journey we started watching surfing documentaries and came across "Resurface" on Netflix about a veteran that took part in Operation Surf and it saved his life. We were humbled and blown away and wanted to take part in some small way. So...

We are excited to join this epic ONE-day challenge! Operation Surf's mission is very important to us, and we are proud to help them make a difference in the lives of injured military and veterans, one wave at a time. Please support us by giving to our page. The life-changing programs of Operation Surf are made possible by contributions.

We did not put a wave count of how many waves we'll catch but we will stay out for 3 hours in water that is typically 50 - 55 degrees to help support Operation Surf.

Your support will provide:

• $25 provides peer-to-peer support through Operation Surf's online peer-to-peer platform called The Canteen.

• $50 provides health-conscious meals for a day for one participant.

• $100 provides a day of world-class surfing instruction for one participant.

• $250 equips a participant with a wetsuit to keep them warm and comfortable.

• $500 provides a veteran in our local 3-month program, OS3, a brand-new surfboard and wetsuit.

• $750 provides one participant with complete lodging for their week-long surf program.

• $1,000 Provides round-trip airfare and daily transportation to and from the beach for one participant

• $5,000 sponsors one participant to attend a full Operation Surf week-long program.

Operation Surf programs are at no cost to the military families they serve, and they are invited to continue their journey long after the program is complete through various opportunities.
