#GetMovingGiveHope in honor of the 43 kids that are diagnosed with cancer, every day
I’m fundraising for this cause because it was started by a friend of mine. I believe that now that I received my lifesaving new kidney that as I get fit again I can make the miles I walk go to a good cause.
This cause needs support - 43 children are diagnosed with cancer every day!! We must work to find a cure! Please support me in this summer challenge. Thank you so much. Lisa

Thank you so much for donating to this amazing cause! I really appreciate it! To wrap it up, since last week I walked an additional 19.3 miles bringing my total to 331 for June, July, and August.
Since mid-July when my old Lab died, Frida, my ten-year-old has been walking every morning with me and loves her long walks without her very slow old pal.

On August 18 I celebrated my 9 month anniversary of receiving my new kidney thanks to a deceased donor. I've been walking all year to build back my energy and stay fit.
