36th Swim for Life & Paddler Flotilla

September 9, 2023

Earlier this year, I had the good fortune of meeting Hal, an 82 year-old gentleman who maintains a routine of swimming and exercising several times a week. After joining him and his pool buddies, Steve and Louis, for morning sessions, they introduced me to Swim 4 Life. Having never done an open water swim before, I was inspired by them to aid this cause.

The Swim for Life has raised over $6M for AIDS, women’s health and the community. I'm thrilled to take part in this year's swim. Please consider joining me to help raise $200,000 in support of this place that we love.

Okay, now that the lawyers are gone, let's get down to the brass tacks.

Real talk, thanks for donating. While the Swim for Life was something introduced to me by others, I loved the experience so much that I want to make it a regular part of my life. I pushed myself during the swim and felt proud for doing something good for myself as well as the people. That shit felt *good*. And that's on positive influence.

Also, that was my first time in Ptown. Fun people; great energy; much love. I see why people love it so much. BIG change of pace from Boston, and businesses are open later than 6pm.

"It's lit."

Great success! Never did I think I would be able to raise $500, let alone SMASH my fundraiser goal. Thank you to everyone that donated <3
