Join me in support of kids experiencing homelessness

I’m excited to join together with the DC Association community to raise funds to provide new shoes to kids experiencing homelessness. Without a good pair of shoes, kids feel embarrassed, discouraged, or left out— simply because they lack something most of us take for granted. New shoes give kids the opportunity to participate more fully in school, and frees up resources their caregivers can use for other necessities.

That's why the Washington DC Association community is coming together to raise $130,000 to ensure that the 6,500 students experiencing homelessness in DC Public Schools have a new pair of high-quality, well-fitting shoes for the upcoming school year. Will you help by making a donation today?
