Had a fantastic "Staff Big Day" on April 26. Even though it was late in the season, we still did better than last year with 110 species! Best birds for me were: Allen's hummingbird, Ring-necked Duck (all time favorite), Black Skimmer, Hammonds and Olive-sided Flycatchers and Peregrine Falcon!

I saw 159 species with The Bay Birding Challenge! Some of the best birds being: Snowy Plover, Golden Eagle, Sharp-shinned hawk, Western Kingbird, Rufous-crowned sparrow and Townsend's Solitaire!
