Birdathon is the perfect way to enjoy being in nature with others who share an appreciation for birdlife in our beautiful city. It also is a fantastic opportunity for raising money for Birds Connect Seattle.
There are lots of ways to help. Ask for a "bucks per bird" type sponsorship or a lump sum donation in honor of our birding day. Join a birding team like the Bird of Directors or take your family and friends out to a local park and have a bird treasure hunt with donation jar in hand.

A few pictures from Saturday. In addition to Virb, our team encountered her NextGen volunteers on a field trip training session. Anthony and I later saw them again and they posed for a selfie.

The Bird of Directors will be enjoying a day of birding at beautiful Lincoln Park in West Seattle on Saturday, May 11. And the weather forecast appears to be cooperating so fingers crossed for lots of birds out and about in dry weather!
We are nearly 50% to our goal so great work everyone! Much appreciation to board members who have donated to our team page. Thank you for your successful fundraising efforts as we gear up for the event.
