It’s that time of year again…

Many of you already know how passionate I am about the MGA Caddie Scholarship Fund. With the cost of college tuition continually rising, The Fund has been overly generous to many Shorehaven GC employees - including my own son who will GRADUATE in December! During my eight years at Shorehaven, The Caddie Scholarship Fund has awarded need-based scholarships to our kids well in excess of $350,000 toward their four-year tuition. This year alone, close to $1,000,000 will be distributed to deserving caddies and those in service to golf throughout the Met area.

This year, I was humbled and blessed to again be awarded with the organization's Outstanding Service Award. At the 2022 Golf Marathon, my personal fundraising efforts collected more than $123,000— yet another record and the most money raised by any marathon participant in the 14-year history of the event. CAN WE MAKE IT ANOTHER $100,000 THIS YEAR??? LET’S TRY!!!

On August 21, 2023, I will take the formidable challenge to play as many holes of golf as possible in one day - from sun up to sun down, at Siwanoy Country Club in Bronxville, NY - site of the very first PGA Championship in 1916.

To support my efforts, you can pledge any flat amount or pledge for each hole of golf I play. For example, if you pledge $3 per hole and I complete 54 holes, that’s $162. It will be a fun, but challenging day and your backing will help keep us going!
