I'm Participating in Celebrating Long Lives to Support Those with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia

Thank you for supporting my participation in CLL Society's Celebrating Long Live virtual 5K! On May 11th I'll be participating in a 5K in support of the 200,000 individuals living with the incurable blood cancers chronic lymphocytic leukemia and small lymphocytic lymphoma (CLL/SLL).

All funds raised will go to the organization CLL Society, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to address the unmet needs of the CLL/SLL community through patient education, advocacy, support, and research. To learn more about the work of CLL Society, visit https://cllsociety.org/.

Had a wonderful time walking 5K with my wife Patty and doctor Alexey Danilov. It’s great to see all the support for the CLL community today.

After 19 years of battling CLL I am more than thrilled to still be able to walk 5 kilometers on a May morning to raise money for the unmet needs of my fellow CLL patients. I may need walking sticks and I might not keep up with my fellow team members, my wife, Patty Koffman, and my doctor, Dr. Alexey Danilov, but I will complete the course and hopefully help raise awareness and money for CLL Society.
