My Mission
Hello!
This summer we are raising money to purchase new equipment for our Newington Forest Neptunes swim team, including new short lane lines, a larger lane line reel, and new timecards. We have set a goal to raise $30 per swimmer.
Thank you, in advance, for your support. Swimming has so many benefits for our kids and our community:
Swimming is a life skill. Mini Neptunes and Neptunes learn to swim in a safe, fun, and competitive environment, while learning a skill that will instil comfort and confidence in the water. (And could save a life one day.)
Swimming is great exercise for their entire body. Swimming expands lung capacity, builds muscle mass, improves cardio fitness, WITHOUT stressing joints. Swimming can be done at any age.
Swimming develops the Newington Forest Community. Our team is made exclusively of Newington Forest HOA residents (owners and renters). We are all neighbors!
Swimming is a family sport. What other sport can you bring ALL of your kids, ages 4-18, to learn and grow together?
Swimming builds a competitive spirit. Swimmers compete against their friends, classmates, neighbors, siblings, but most importantly, each child competes with themselves to improve their own personal best times.
Swimming is FUN! While we love swimming, we also have various other fun activities, including water polo, sharks and minnows, pep rallies, team activities & dinners, and access to the pool outside of their regular hours.
