Fact: +1M kids in US are categorized as homeless. And without a good pair of shoes, kids feel embarrassed, discouraged, or left out— simply because they lack something most of us take for granted. In short, they feel limited today, which can limit their tomorrow.

Now What: I’m excited to participate in the Race4EveryKid campaign, because every kid deserves a good pair of shoes! Soles4Souls’ mission is very important to me and I’m proud to help them make a difference in the lives of children experiencing homelessness.

You can help me by pledging or making a flat donation during the month of May to support kids here in my community and across the country. Every dollar raised supports 4EveryKid! For every $20 raised, it equates to a new pair of sneakers.

You might question why we focus on shoes instead of other basic necessities like shelter or food. While these are crucial, many organizations are already addressing them. Our focus is on providing quality footwear, often overlooked but vitally important. Poor-quality and ill-fitting shoes can affect a child’s confidence and academic performance.
