These are my grandparents...they're all cancer survivors from various forms of cancer. My grandfather in the purple shirt is still getting treatment and fighting stage IV pancreatic cancer. I'm happy to report, he's doing great! I'm participating in October Saves to honor them and help towards providing others with the services to get them through their fight with cancer.

There are many people in my family that have been diagnosed with cancer, which is why I'm participating in October Saves. I'll share posts about several of them throughout the month. One of them is my cousin Michael. Michael was diagnosed with Leukemia at an early age. It took him several years to win his battle with cancer, which I'm happy to report he did and is now 18 and a senior in high school. He could not have done this without the help and dedication of family, friends and an excellent medical team focused specifically towards this.
Your support towards October Saves helps provide that same support to others going through their own fight now. Please help me in this great cause.
