The Museum of the Earth

Museum of the Earth, part of the Paleontological Research Institution, takes visitors on a journey through 4.5 billion years of Earth's history, from origin to the present day, through fossils, hands-on exhibits, and outreach. Drawing from PRI's collection of more than seven million specimens (one of the largest in the United States), the museum encourages critical thinking about life on Earth in the past and today, and how our species is affecting the natural world.
