The Warbling Welders

The Warbling Welders includes Peter Burke, Ryan Dibala, Bart Deferme and Helen Butts. Our goal is to find 100+ species on Sept. 6 in Weld County, Colorado.

We're excited to participate in the 2025 COBC! and support Colorado Field Ornithologists and its conservation mission.

We'll begin our day predawn in the northern Pawnee looking and listening for owls and nighthawks. We'll spend the rest of the day scouring Weld County, no small task as it's three times the size of Rhode Island!
