We're birding for a better world! Can you cheer us on?

Our team is excited to be a part of Feminist Bird Club's Birdathon for Birders of Palestine! We are coming together to celebrate the inclusive nature of bird joy while fundraising for Birders of Palestine, an independent project fundraising to support Palestinian birdwatchers.

Please help our team reach our goal by leaving a flat donation or making a pledge to support any of our team members in this inclusive campaign. You can also support the birders and their families directly by purchasing a print on the Birders of Palestine website. Submit your receipt here and note that your purchase is to support our team's fundraising campaign!

Thank you for your support, and stay tuned for birding updates from our team!

Hi everyone!

Today was my 30th birthday! 🎂🎉🥳

It was also a very successful day 2 of the Birdathon! I completely 11 bird lists today, added 6 new birds to my life list (4 of which were my target birds!), walked nearly 19k steps, and while I didn’t get to see them, I got a recording of two great horned owls duetting near one of my regular birding spots!

That puts us at 17 bird lists for the Birdathon, leaving tomorrow for the remaining 13. I’ve unfortunately saved some of the hardest birds on my target list for tomorrow, but I’m ready for a challenge and to finish this Birdathon strong!

I’ve attached a photo of a young buck that I ran into this evening who was very nice to not get startled by me (all my bird photos are blurry 😔).

I’ll see you all tomorrow!

Madeline
