Our plan is to camp at the base of Mt of the Holy Cross and summit the high point of Eagle county first thing in the morning. The remainder of our day will be spent pedalling our way to Dotsero to jump in the river at the lowest point of the county. You can call it a County High to Low. This set route pigeon-holes us into the river corridor for a while and so we expect the route to not be the optimal high species count strategy, but it will be a different kind of fun to go birding along every foot of elevation Eagle has to offer!

We're excited to participate in the 2025 COBC! Our team is going to try and find as many species of birds as we can on Sept. 6 to support Colorado Field Ornithologists and its conservation mission.
