Team Lily & Iris

Lily and Iris are identical twins who consider themselves only children - together. The almost 6-year-olds are bursting with creative energy! They can already read, and choosing one favorite book, movie, song, food? Forget about it. There are just too many good ones. “They love LIFE!,” says their mom “… to read, write, draw, craft. They are super creative and industrious, and they essentially never stop verbalizing their imaginations...” Right now, the girls share a love for Encanto (the movie), mac’n’cheese and Yum bowls. Lily loves Cheerios so much that she recently snuck a love note into the cereal box. They like riding things with wheels, creating stop-motion animations, baking and cooking, and the colors pink, green and yellow. When asked who they look up to, both girls named each other, because “she is nice.” A fun difference between the two? Their hair parts in opposite directions!

Lily has pre-B cell ALL. When she's not feeling well, songs by the band Fun cheer her up, and post-clinic treatments, she wakes up craving Cup-o-Noodles . Part of her port-access routine is to bravely sing songs from the movies Frozen and Encanto.

The twins singing and dancing made for some family favorite videos during Candlelighters Camp Outside the Box. Recently, both girls enjoyed the snowmobile rides and the warming hut at a Candlelighters Snow Day, and proclaimed it to be their favorite Candlelighters activity yet!
