From funding research to hosting accessible events with professional and D1 collegiate athletes, Uplifting Athletes is creating a brighter future for all people impacted by rare diseases nationwide.
There are over 10,000 known rare diseases and 30 million people in the United States living with one or more rare disease. 95% of rare diseases DO NOT have an FDA-approved treatment or cure and that is simply unacceptable. Uplifting Athletes seeks to change that and that's why I need your help.

Riley’s teammate at Syracuse, Rob Long, is currently the Executive Director of Uplifting Athletes. Riley was by Rob's side as he battled a rare form of brain cancer and this experience imprinted a special place in Riley's heart to always support the rare disease community.
