Riley Dixon's Journey to $25,000

From funding research to hosting accessible events with professional and D1 collegiate athletes, Uplifting Athletes is creating a brighter future for all people impacted by rare diseases nationwide.

• There are over 10,000 known rare diseases.
• 30 million people in the United States living with one or more rare disease.
• 95% of rare diseases DO NOT have an FDA-approved treatment or cure.
• Uplifting Athletes seeks to change that and that's why I need your help.

To show my commitment to the rare disease community, I am personally pledging $500 per punt that I pin inside our opponents 20 yard line. I ask you to join my team, by donating or pledging any amount you are able to.

My former teammate at Syracuse, Rob Long, is currently the Executive Director of Uplifting Athletes. I was by Rob's side as he battled a rare form of brain cancer and this experience imprinted a special place in my heart to always support the rare disease community.

We are stronger together, so while I work on the field to help the Broncos win, we as a community will be working to raise awareness and funds to create a brighter future for all people impacted by rare diseases.
