Luis Mora

I'm excited to join the 28x28 Mobility Challenge in support of So Every BODY Can Move, a landmark state-by-state policy and advocacy initiative creating equitable access to prosthetic and orthotic care.

Here is a little bit about me. My personal experience is why I choose to be involved.

I am an ABC Certified Prosthetist, father, husband, son, and friend to many people. You will often hear me remark, “the field of prosthetics chose me.” I have lived with limb loss for all but 14 years of my life. I am a proud graduate of California State Dominguez Hills Prosthetics certificate program. I completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and a minor in Biology. My clinical experience is varied and includes work in the private, institutional and manufacture sectors. I bring a passion for teaching and physical activity to Össur. I am delighted that my job affords me the opportunity to improve people's mobility, so they can live their Life Without Limitations. Now as California Orthotic and Prosthetic Association President I am excited to be leading the charge toward increasing Californians access to devices that will allow them to engage in physical activity.
