I worked countless unpaid internships and underpaid jobs in the museum field before landing something good—-and I was privileged to be in a position where I could work for little/nothing. This unfair, discriminatory, and demoralizing practice needs to stop! I also was in a very unhealthy place mentally and physically while job hunting like that and I think this is an important campaign to remind yourself to take care of #1!!
