Bird is a Verb - Antiracism is a Journey
My favorite workday of the year is right around the corner.
If this is your first time supporting my Birdathon and you're wondering what in the heck that is: It's like a walkathon, but I count birds instead of walking laps. I will be going out on a single "Big Day" to see how many different bird species I can see and hear. It's kind of like Pokemon--you gotta catch 'em all!
Together, with other Birdathon participants, we're raising funds to our chapter's mission to advocate and organize for cities where people and birds thrive. This means you're supporting top-tier urban conservation, community science, and environmental education programs grounded in antiracism.
Please support me by making a donation through my fundraising page. Your gift of $250, $100, or $50 provides resources for urban conservation, environment education, and community science programs in our local community. Every dollar counts towards my goal! Thank you.

May 25 was a beautiful outing with beautiful birds and beautiful people. We kept a slower-than-usual pace throughout the day that was very pleasant and we still managed to see 80 species! Thank you to all my donors for your support.

Ginny and I hit the birding trail on Saturday for the first day of Birdathon to warm up our "warbler ears" for next week's big day!
