As social media manager for Women's Premier Soccer League club, Sioux Falls City FC, I am showing my pride in support of LGBTQ2S+ inclusion in and through sport.

Sioux Falls City FC's mission is to empower women through soccer, and in a state that continues to attack and bully it's queer residents through harmful legislation, I feel very strongly about showing up for my queer neighbors and friends, and it starts with my platform working for the only elite women's sports team in our state.

I will fight for the queer women, men, nonbinary and trans folks on my team, in my community, and in sports on the global stage. This fundraiser is just the beginning, so join me! For the remainder of the 2023 season, I will donate $10 for every SFCFC win and $5 for every SFCFC draw.

I encourage my friends and family, and the Sioux Falls City faithful to match my donations and join me in the important fight for LGBTQ2S+ inclusion in sport and in life.

In 2017, professional soccer player Austin da Luz saw the LGBTQI+ community in his state come under attack, and started Playing for Pride as a way for professional soccer players to show their support for LGBTQI+ inclusion in and through sport.

Playing for Pride brings together athletes, teams, and leagues to support Athlete Ally's mission of making sports inclusive for the LGBTQI+ community.
