My Mission for Rare Disease Research

The Penn Medicine Orphan Disease Center hosts this event to raise money for research in rare diseases and I'm excited to participate. Please consider donating to our cause and being a part of transformative rare disease research.

In 2026, your donation will directly benefit my team's organization. Your donation not only helps further rare disease research, but also benefits patients and families in our rare disease community. The difference you can make is immeasurable. Thank you for your support!

I'm excited to share Andrew's biking progress! Andrew is diagnosed with SSR4-CDG, a multi-systemic disorder of protein folding which affects the central nervous system.

Andrew is part of an international CDG SSR4 1y Community patient group. We hope to bring awareness to SSR4-CDG and support research on interventions and mechanisms.

Now that the weather is fine, Andrew has been working hard on his tricycle, cycling near the pond near his house.
