Right now, the people of Haiti need our help more than ever! And so I'm excited once again to join the Move Across May supporting WORK, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to accompany families in Haiti out of poverty through good, dignified jobs.

And how do they do that? By rescuing the developed world's "recycled" plastic out of the landfill, treating it like a natural resource, and creating a reverse supply chain by sourcing it back to the globe's multinationals for use in everything from sneakers and polos to print cartridges and laptops. Along the way, WORK provides education, healthcare, sustainable employment and business training to Haiti's forgotten waste-worker class.

I will be biking around Minneapolis, and Minnesota, and other states. When I bike my usual 25 mile loop around south Minneapolis, I bike west to circle the lakes and come back east down Minnehaha Creek to Minnehaha Falls.
